PARASITE - AN ONGOING ARTISTIC, FICTIONAL COLLABORATIVE PROJECT.

Part postmodern joke, part self-referential Goedelian puzzle. ‘Parasite’ began as a mimetic ‘viral’ concept - a self-looping game whose parameters were set so that anything and everything can be cannibalised into it and yet not violate the integrity of the original concept.

Parasite is a mimetic being, an artificially created intelligence whose inclination is to become the universe by transposing the co-ordinates of its own identity onto the co-ordinates of its environment. Do the math.

Parasite is an open invitation to all its readers to plagiarise it, along with everything else encompassable by the senses or intellect. Whatever you take from Parasite only adds to it because through the simple act of taking the take becomes part of Parasite. Do the math.

Parasite is everywhere and everywhere is Parasite

Classic cartoon from the 70s. Crudely but powerfully executed. Never saw vampires portrayed like this anywhere else. Haunting images.

It took me ages but I collected the set. There were very few ‘space’ toys available back then in the UK. Most kids liked cowboys, soldiers or football. The only thing I had in common with other boys I knew was the mania to collect stuff. These were surreal and trippy and totally addictive. Wish I still had them.

Believe it or not, this was my favourite super hero. These comics still disturb me.
